Magnificent Moldavite

I hope everyone’s having another great Tuesday! This week’s gem is a Gem Steady favorite and has even had one blog dedicated to discussing its amazing story! The gem is definitely out of this world, both metaphorically and literally. As you’ve already learned this awe-inspiring gem originated after a meteorite crashed into Earth over 14 million years ago.  This week we’re discussing the marvelous Moldavite.

This amazing gem can be found near the Bohemian Plateau in the Czech Republic and influences a variety of energies including inner vision, power, and love. As a result of this, Moldavite is particularly effective in metaphysical practice. It can even help to accelerate your spiritual path.

Like many gems, Moldavite has a history of being used to honor various goddesses. It was used to honor Persephone, the Greek goddess of spring. As well as, Gaia, the Greek Earth mother goddess, who was one of the first to appear in the process of creation and is honored as being the Earth. Moldavite has also been used as a talisman for good fortune.

Folklore in the Czech Republic Moldavite is thought to bring good luck and harmony to relationships. During the Middle Ages, this gem was valued so highly that only members of nobility or royalty could wear. People in Eastern Europe have been wearing this gem for around 25,000 years. An ancient statue of the Venus of Willendorf was found with a number of Moldavite amulets.

Moldavite can even help to improve your spiritual life by awakening the intelligence of your heart and helping you to disconnect from unhealthy attachments. This amazing gem will also help to create more vivid and meaningful dreams. Moldavite is often used in meditation and can help to open the Heart, Third Eye and Crown Chakras. It can help to create out of body travel and powerful visions. Moldavite is also popular in Feng Shui, and uses the energy of growth, expansion, new beginnings, and health. It can enhance vitality, and helps people to grow. It’s often used in the east and southeastern areas of a home or room.
